Wow, what a weekend! We have to thank everyone who came out this weekend to enjoy a meal made and served by our small but mighty team. We had many trials this weekend, especially Sunday with our computer systems going down for 2 hours, but our guests are so kind, wonderful, and patient, you really helped us through what is normally a restaurant nightmare. Our team is home today with their families getting much needed rest and enjoying the holiday. We will see everyone Wednesday with more Rum Buckets and summer fun!

Father`s Day is just 3 weeks away! Although Village Restaurant does not take reservations Memorial Day through Labor Day we do take reservations for all major holidays and private functions. Here is your reminder that tomorrow is the annual Cape Ann Shave to Save for @stjuderesearch. This is our 4th year hosting this incredible event and we know this will be the best one yet! This event is for all ages as we gather for the shave, raffles, merchandise, live music, and burgers and dogs for donation cooked up by the Essex Lions Club. The Village bar will be open and our Abbie will be serving all your favorites as she always so generously donates her tips to the cause. Our community is strong and together we can make an even stronger effort to help!

Today is World Bee Day! While this year’s pollen has not been helping out allergies, it’s a good reminder of all the work these little bees have to do to help keep our world green and growing! Come celebrate with us with a Bees Knees made with gin, local honey, and a touch of lemon.

We love Sundays at the Village! Sundays have a long standing tradition of being a day where families gather. For the past almost 70 years we have been fortunate to share Sundays with generations of families with good food and excellent service. We’ve celebrated your birthdays, first communions, weddings and even celebrated your life. It’s our favorite thing to do and we look forward to celebrating so many more!
